Re: North Adams JH Girls and Boys Basketball need a Scrimmag
I (Clay Jr. High) may be willing to have a scrimmage on the 19th, (Saturday) but you may have a hard time getting a Sunday morning scheduled. You can contact rosem@clay.k12.oh.us for information.

Re: Week 8 - Waverly @ West
Last night before the game watching the Tigers warm up, if I didn't know that they were struggling I would of thought man they look like a good football team. They have good size and speed Bolin-Hitchens throws as nice a ball as anybody in the area they just look very good while they are warming up...

Re: WEEK 4 WEST VS. ROCK HILL
I NEVER took a shot at any of the kids! I am a life long West Side student, player, coach and booster. I was a founding member and president of the Extra Point Club for years. I'm not a "spectator", I do however plan to watch my grandchildren come through the West school system. What I don...

Re: WEEK 4 WEST VS. ROCK HILL
I'm sorry folks, but I have to say it was rubbing it in to have Ratliff pass several times against a helpless defense when West was up 40+ to 7 late in the game! I totally believe it is the losing teams job to stop the winning teams offense, but it is the winning teams job to beat the only competiti...

Re: Wheelersburg @ Portsmouth week 3
If's and but's etc. But I will say this one thing about the West and Portsmouth game. Dropped passes killed PHS! No less than 3 touchdowns were eliminated because of it. Players were behind West D-backs several times with some over throws, but I remember 3 right on the money that were just plain dro...

Re: PHOTOS: West @ Portsmouth
I always admit when I'm wrong. What a great shot of this fumble, I apologize to the PHS posters for thinking he was already past the plane of the goal line. Great play by the Trojans!

Re: Notre Dame 20 Cincinnati Oyler 0 (forfeit after 1st quar
ND graduates a huge class of 24 total kids. They tried to schedule a school their size - division 6. I heard five kids did not make the trip for Oyler --- that may be the results of Oyler playing Cincinnati Norwood (D-2) the prior week. Holy Cow! Are you kidding me? A D6 school playing a D2? That's...

Re: Portsmouth West vs. Portsmouth
I congratulate both teams for an exciting early season game. Plenty of mistakes were made by the kids, coaches and yes, the referees. We are human, and so are they. I am very proud that when Auger had to shut it down, others stepped up. The line for West did a very good job of battling all game agai...

Re: Notre Dame 20 Cincinnati Oyler 0 (forfeit after 1st quar
Didn't they schedule this game to start at 6:00, instead of 7:00? I imagine it was for travel time, but I'm not so sure that the powers that be outsmarted themselves anyway. It's always hot around here for the first 2-3 weeks. Congrats to ND for the win, but Clay could field a team of 13-14 players.

I guess I should tell you I'm coming from Portsmouth Clay, just north of Portsmouth, Ohio. Ripley would be about 1.5 hour drive for us, but I will definitely give this info to my A.D., thanks!

Re: Portsmouth West Head Coaching Job
I am reading between the lines on this move. It seems to me that because of the family health issue, coach Tripplett needs the freedom to be available to his family. I went through this with my mother's disease that eventually took her. It is very difficult to concentrate on your team responsibiliti...

I don't have a horse in this race, but I will be in Columbus to watch and cheer on the winner. It would be nice to see Portsmouth at the Schott though.
