Although the QB and RB are seniors Shadyside is a very young team. Three freshmen start on D and two more frosh play and contribute to a very high degree, especially on kick return and kick off. Fullback in a soph and a starting receiver is a soph. All Shadyside receivers are underclassmen.

34-6 Shadyside final. I was at this game, seems Adena had never faced or defended against the toward pass, completely baffled ! Shadyside starts three freshmen on D and their top kick off defender is a frosh. He had the tackle on four straight Shadyside kickoffs plus a 50 yard ko return.

My understanding from a coach.. Bellaire has two open dates for 19. Week 2 ( Shenandoah) week 5 ( Buckeye Local) . Bellaire did contact N Y , but they declined to schedule. One of the two open dates was filled by Cambridge , , still one open date.

Game has been moved to St Clairsville. And no, Arena does not have a chance.

St. C lost their best athlete / rb/ wr to an ACL injury several weeks ago. They will probably be run heavy with All Stater Brady Kolb for this game. Kolb 245 over 1, 500 yards on the season.

Why not cross the river and possibly get Magnolia, Tyler or St Mary's ? Are they tied into a League that would prevent them ? Buckeye 8 schools can schedule out several games and still remain eligible.

What about River as a member ? Or invited as a consideration .
