Western with good wins over Notre Dame at there place Peebles at home East Clinton at Paint Valley. They are off to a good start but lots of games left.

In the first half Peebles controlled the tempo of play. Then the second half started and Western turned the defense up and got the win.

Pretty lopsided game Western up 25-30 most of second half . Bench played all but about 2 min of the second half. Once again Westerns defense led to there offense turning Green over for easy scores . Western sets at 2-1 and host a great team in D-4 this year in Peebles on sat the 13th.

Yes congrats coach Miller ! I love how the kids feed off you . They are a gritty tough nosed team . I hope this is the first of many for you and your staff.

I like Western in this one. There defense is much improved from last year.

The guards for Western are really comeing of age . Last years team was young and they went .500 this years team can possibly have a winning record. Just keep working girls the min. you let up or think you have arrived someone will be gunning to knock you down. Stay hungry !! Proud of you .

There guard play to this point has been outstanding. And there defense is leap years ahead of last years. They have pretty good size for a D4 team as well a couple 6 footers about 3 -5'9-5'10 kids and the rest about 5'8 . Not bad for a little school.

I agree last season there transition defense was very bad . Teams like Clay and Notre Dame would leak out every trip down the floor for easy layups. This season they have corrected that issue. And on offense they have to finish layups !! Period way to many missed ones by there bigs. But that's a eas...
