Re: SVC 2022

Beating Waverly definitely wasn’t an upset. Let people keep thinking we aren’t good lol. Been “underdogs” every week bc of last year. Everyone said it was between PV and ZT I’m just saying it because I don’t think Waverly is good this year. They lost a LOT to graduation. I’m trying to find 2/3 more...

Re: SVC 2022

Beating Waverly definitely wasn’t an upset. Getting thumped for a couple years straight and 90 percent of people thinking you will lose and pulling out a win definitely is an upset. pulled ahead with 5 minutes left after being spotted 18 points. Game changing call to where the ref didn’t even know ...

Re: WK3: 2-0 Unioto @ 2-0 Waverly

Not as bad of a beating as Unioto gave Waverly last time they went in to Waverly but a beating none the less. I personally thought the refs were great. They somehow missed the play when their corner tackled Maddox and wasn’t a PI but oh well They made the right calls when the game was on the line. ...

Re: Trey Robertson Class of 2022

Kids deciding to not play at the next level for whatever reason seems to be harder on the parents than the kids sometimes lol. I was a little saddened when my son decided against it. Isaac wants to be a chiropractor and playing basketball or football at the d2 d3 or NAIA level would’ve added years t...

Re: Trey Robertson Class of 2022

I hope the kid gets the chance at D1. He’s always been the smallest player on the court (basically until this year) and he’s done it his entire life. No he’s not a long 6’4 but he’s quicker, smarter, better shooter and better instincts than the vast majority of those 6’4 guys that will get ample ch...

Man. I just talked to him last week. Darren was a good guy and has great kids. Terrible tragedy, he will be missed for sure

Re: Trey Robertson Class of 2022

I know his size kills him but I’d have to think he could still play big 2D somewhere and get his school paid for. Not that he can’t play D1 but you’d think if that was in the cards an offer would’ve came by now. And maybe it has and it’s just not the right fit. We see it every year with kids taking ...

Re: Western vs Hiland REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

Western staff is overrated. Everyone but Doug Jimison, Buckler, McCleod, and Opperman are all solid and Doug will be the first to tell you that I am sure. Was a joke. I know their staff is solid. If I was to name a weak link it would definitely be Buckler. He needs to stick to being...

Re: Waverly final 4 thread.

These Tigers were built 4 this. They’ve never ever been the biggest but they’ve always had the biggest hearts. Two games at the Convo their shooting was off but they figured out a way to win - DEFENSE and Trey time at the end. If Dayton Arena is more kind to the Tiger shooters, they have a real sho...
