Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
[If we want to be honest Waverly should win the Classic every year. They are the biggest school in the county, as well as have the most resources AND they play on their home court. But this year, I will take Piketon in the upset. I just think with Perdue transferring to Piketon that makes the diffe...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
I watched Little go 4-5 in the first half Purdue 2-2 and Veach 1-1 or 1-2 and I didn't see a single shot get tippped or blocked or the ball change direction from the time it left the shooters hand one time. Maybe u just had a better angle than me. I'll agree that our perimeter shooting isn't the gre...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
May be a pipe dream but I think these top 4 guys could all be averaging close to double digits by end of season I hope you are correct but they are gonna have to make drastic changes and improvements for that to happen. Usually when your eyes tell you and the form and spin on the ball show you they...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
Little not averaging 10 ppg? Perdue - 27.7 Blanton - 8.8 Reader - 7.0 Little - 5.8 Veech - 5.0 Thanks...I haven’t seen any scoring total except from TP but the one game I did see Little go for 17 Yep and all those but 2 were first half points. I don't think that's an anomaly like Ronm. We'll see mo...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
Did I really just see a post where someone said Tanner Purdue wasn't a scorer, I've seen him score a lot. no I said they dont have any scores but him. nobody on that team can put up 10 or 12 points per night other than TP Little not averaging 10 ppg? Nah, other than the PV game he's had some low to...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio Week #4 - Christmas Edition ...
Yes. Unioto shouldn't go above Logan at any point unless Logan completely falls apart, IMO. Agreed, but big time win in that Chillicothe game. I listened to that chill/Unioto game on the radio and I barely heard Noel's name. Was he just a non factor or was his PT limited? I've seen that kid play qu...

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio Week #4 - Christmas Edition ...
love your rankings but ports west deserves more love and Piketon being in the top 8 isnt even close. A 1 man team cant contend against the good teams long term. Actually, it's usually one man that makes a team go. Coaches say it all the time. They have a lot of role players that understand their ro...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
I agree I agree with Piketon being able handle the press Veach and Blanton are both good ball handlers and should be able to handle the pressure. None of their guards will struggle with the pressure no prolly not BC when it gets tough the use TP to handle it. Once again Piketon doesnt have any guar...

So how do we know this isn't a post from the compromised account just trying to confuse people?VisionQuest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 26, 2017 12:49 am Someone is trying to shut me up by stealing my Identity on here and writing statements that I clearly did not write. Re: What have we created?
I do think it's isolated. As long as I've watched basketball there are kids who overreact. I don't think the AAU culture is helping tho. The one of many problems is the fear of losing kids in the AAU program so the coaches will allow the players to do things that their normal high school coaches wil...

Re: What have we created?
I agree, just by shear volume there will be more bad ball players. Each team dresses on average 12 players that's 24 players to 3 officials. If we had 24 officials per game I believe you would have a different opinion

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)
I agree I have not seen the teams in the Pike Co. Classic but on paper I have to believe Piketon is the favorite. With the Perdue kid I think Piketon will not struggle with Waverly’s pressure. Waverly’s Press is designed to cause turnovers which leads to points. If Piketon doesn’t turn it over I th...
