I think the only thing classless here is Marietta's coaching using this language infront of kids he is "mentoring" and half of Washington county. Be a man and handle it the right way, not like a tattooed punk.

That was a great game last night, it was everything you can ask for in a game..hard fought, intense, and also showcased both of the teams talented athletes. That's a shame, was involved with the Mid Ohio Valley 9th grade league and seems to be a lot of talent not follow through with this program for whatever reason in more recent years.

Is the Hammond's boy playing this year? Haven't heard anything about him...is he hurt or something?

Didn't finish it out is sample as I can put what cost the Tigers. After the 3 losses you'd imagine they wouldn't let this kind of thing as fumbled balls, careless passes cost them.

Journey, if you know anything about school size, you'd know Marietta should blow them out of the water. Marietta has some talent , just hasnt shown. And if you know anything about Marietta basketball, you'd know 3 of the 5 current starters played the majority the game last year, they must have some.

Ohio, don't let any of these people bother you, it's very admirable to say your honest opinion. It's typical of Marietta people to ignore the problem and try to create others in order to hide the real problems that exist. It happens with many of their popular sports!

Good, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come but it really is needed, Glad to see the boys stepping up. There is no other way to put it other than the coaching has cost them way too many games in the past few years.

..know the games in the past but been busy with work would like to say that it was a great played game by NP but Marietta's coaching hurt their chances again... And I believe in the Times article Secrest admitted there were mistakes. Hope they work out the kinks and get back on track.
