Re: Paladin's Pigskin Picks - Wk. 1
i don't buy it, my sources say different. Buy it Bait! I'm as impartial as anyone to Logan and even one of the few Logan posters that think Logan might get it handed to them in this game but them two teams were clearly better for Logan,The first game Lancaster did have quite a few injuries even had...

Re: Week 1: Lancaster AT Logan
I predicted Logan would win this the last two years, but I got strong feeling the tables are turned this year,Logans inexperience will be too much too overcome against what looks like a very strong Gales team this year, the running game should be strong but the passing will be a work in progress, need ...

I'm confused, you mean Taggart only played the second half in the Coal Grove playoff game? Was he sick or something that night?

They'll be ready, last week I heard a bunch of players wouldn't participate in the Sheridan scrimmage due to injuries, but I only noticed a couple players out.

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
Same here I just didn't see the overall speed that 2008 team had,and that team was really big, this year they have 2 big guys and the rest looked kind of smallish to me,The Qb is really good but the one from 2008 was no slouch ,the left hander who could chuck it a mile and that tailback they had god ...

Don't be surprised if Lancaster upsets Ignatius in week 3, I'm hearing the Wildcats are really down this year which is unusual for them.

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
I agree drifter,Sheridan looked pretty good Friday but no where near some of their past teams, they are probably better this year than last since they were so young last year, but that team from 2 years ago would have murdered this Sheridan team not even close, now maybe they didn't show much or had al...

The only reason I'd heard of him is because I'm distantly related to him,my Dads sister was married to this guy who was his first cousin,he was the talk of every reunion but I couldn't remember them say if he excelled in other sports.

What about Hubert Bobo,he was before my time and don't know if he was multi-sport but I heard he played fullback for Woody Hayes one year they won the Rose Bowl.

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
Lancaster has alot coming back from last year, they were very young a year ago and got better as the year went on,they have their QB Flowers, running back Connor Smith who can flat out fly and another back who looks like Jim Brown just to name a few plus Carpenter thinks his defense is the best he's ...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
Heard Lancaster completely dominated Brookhaven in their scrimmage yesterday uh oh :122246,,with that being said it should good for Logan to see a team that strong early on along with Pick North and Reynoldsburg when the league rolls around Logan will have seen it all and should be much more confide...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
The score wasn't that bad in the varsity game but my guess is Lancaster will probably be a little bit stronger, seems like Logan did wear down, I saw alot of heads dragging and it almost seemed like they give up when Sheridan got deep in Logan territory, never saw holes that big in Logans red zone def...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
Anyone here remember when Logan had four or five seventh grade teams that played each other? It seemed like each team had close to 15/20 players and it seemed everyone played. I remember them years :-D Alot of kids got playing time that way but I still prefer a team that plays other towns at that a...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains
I was confused as well! 6:41 left and they line up to shake hands but I guess Wolfe thought they had had enough! Sheridan won the varsity 14-7 then the reserves tacked on a couple scores and could have had more.I thought Logan started out well moving deep into Sheridan territory but stalled out then...

Re: Greatest Multi-Sport Athlete to come out of the S.E.O.A.
I don't doubt the 220lb press,,,,and from the looks of her legs i'd say at least 400 went up on the leg press,I remember one summer me and my friend were playing pickup with some of the boys players from Logan in the hilltop gym and she was there and he relished the chance to guard her because he wa...

I doubt that ! they've had them around for a few years now,not sure but i think its just a way to get your name in there as sponsors for game previews so they can generate some revenue,,,I hope they have that football betting thing again this year.I always enjoy the first one with only high school g...

Re: Greatest Multi-Sport Athlete to come out of the S.E.O.A.
I've got the winner of this thread. You gotta go a little outside of the box. Katie Smith anyone? Is there anyone remotely close to her all-around accomplishments? I have to agree ! How could we have forgot about the great one who put Logan on the map, well Scott gasser just moved to number 2 in my ...

Re: Greatest Multi-Sport Athlete to come out of the S.E.O.A.
Years I've been watching with all sports at Logan combined gotta be Scott Gasser,he was the guy in all three sports he played could truely do anything he wanted from what I heard, I'd make it a tie with Joe Conrad and Jeff Morgan for second,, Morgan might have been one of Logans all time great QB's ...
