I really think we have a shot at winning 14 or 15 ball games. I think tonight is important to get off on the right step. Confidence is all these guys need, the talent is there. I think if they can beat Minford then they will know they can beat anybody. Lose to Minford and confidence goes back down....

Having those two point guards will make a huge difference this year. 85 percent of our problems last year was not having a capable guard who could take care of the ball and hit free throws. Put Kretzer on last years team and they win 8 or 9 more games easily, and he is a freshman.

I think waverly will be vastly improved as well. In my mind it comes down to guard play. Last year we could not take care of the ball or shoot any 3's. I see a big difference this year with Remy and Kretzer. Also I think Martin is going to be dominant. As was already stated he would have had at lea...

I agree that Joey Hobbs would make a phenomenal coach, however he has told me that he is not interested even in an assistant position. He might change his mind but that is his position right now. It is however a long time until soccer season and even Coach Murphy might change his mind.

Brian is the guy to take the program to the next level. You are talking about a very accomplished program that just needs a few tweaks, and an attitude adjustment. Much of that will come with addition by subtraction with some of the seniors graduating.

Why would we bring someone outside of the program in. We have Brian who coached Junior High, and took that team to a much better record than anyone anticipated. Spent many a day running on the courts at East. Established a lot of friendships there. It is a shame there are no places for the kids to safely congregate.
