Re: 5-6 Scores

Congrats to Clay for not rescheduling this game due to a lack of available pitching. Well done. Salty... Youre out of your mind if you think what Clay did was the right thing. Wrong... And besides, the game has no bearing on the league. Clay is 11-0 Symmes has lost 3 games now and ISJ has lost 3 ga...

Re: 4/29/21 Clay at St. Joseph......not really

I’m still confused, Pantherfan, how does the visiting team make the call to cancel a game, over a half hour away, when they haven’t seen the field? There is some misinformation coming from somewhere. We were told that the ADs were in agreement to cancel the game and would be made up at a later date...

Re: 4/29/21 Clay at St. Joseph......not really

I might be wrong about this so feel free to correct me but I think every game in our area was cancelled tonight. I know that the idea of getting to play Clay without their 1st and 2nd pitcher available in a tight league race makes you want to play that game but I am certain that isn't the reason tha...

Re: 4/29/21 Clay at St. Joseph......not really

Apparently so. SOC needed to step up to the plate on this one and didn’t. Shame on them for letting such a precedent to be set. Schedules be damned. Burn up your #1 and # 2 pitchers already.....just refuse to play. Pure case of inmates running the asylum. 94% rain/thunderstorms all evening is good ...

Re: Games and scores: Saturday ,12-12-2020

South Gallia 73 Clay 21 Geesh Clay is really hurting right now. They had a couple of varsity starters decide not to play this year. Two injured key varsity players, and two players have been quarantined and won't be back until the end of next week. One of them is their leading scorer. They have a c...

Re: Is there a "plan" out there from OHSAA for spectators at games this coming Covid Season?

Unless the mask restrictions are lifted, I won't be going to any Portsmouth Trojans basketball games this season, which will be a very long time since that has happened. I only went to half of the first quarter of the Ironton/Portsmouth football game (first game of the season), sitting by myself, b...

Wow! Great game. Two great teams played with class and looks like no injuries. Good job guys!

Re: Week 4 Wheelersburg (3-0) at Waverly (3-0)

I'll start by making my prediction first. I have watched most of every game for both of these teams and I believe Wheelersburg will win this game 35-34 on a Waverly turnover late. Don't expect Burg to get a lot of pressure on the Waverly QB. The Waverly O line is very good and very experienced and e...

Re: Week 2 West at Waverly

West’s offensive and defensive lines are perhaps the best in the area. They can push guys off the ball. They held ND to 1 first down but had the bad play to open. West has 2 freshman WRs who can make some moves. West also played without Luke Bradford, West’s best returning player in the secondary. ...

Re: Football Playoff Format Changes Being Considered By OHSAA

It looks like the plan is to "shorten the preseason" and end on the same timeline as currently so does. So basically games will start a week earlier. When it’s 90 degrees Kentucky starts a week earlier than we do right now and I have never heard of anybody complaining about it. That isn't...
