Korey Lafferre of Woodsfield Monroe Central had 259 yds rushing on 17 carries with 5 td's. Also threw a 73 yard td pass. This was done against a good River team.

So much for the vaunted defense of River!!!!! Lafferre was a thrill to watch last night. 260 yards and 5 rushing td's. Props to the lineman! Coaching staff and players done one heck of job preparing for the River game! Now to get ready for Caldwell.

Chase Carothers filled in nicely in the backfield at the scrimmage. Think we will miss Nixon more as a wide receiver than as a running back. Lafferre looked really good at qb. He will be hard to contain. Very quick.

From what I hear the FF game was first game he has missed. No team chemistry yet. Hopefully MC finds it soon.
