Agreed. These teams beat up on each other night in and night out. It is a shame what happens in the Div III tournament draw. SVC teams playing each other while ANY SHL teams go to the district is a sham!!!

Westfall deseves #3 seed. But we all know how it goes. PV and Huntington deserve higher than they will get. LC may get #3 and lost to HHS for third year in a row. Westfall best team in SVC that no one knows about!

Strength of schedule really stands out here. Wish there was was a way to add "quality wins" to the equation. Bet some of the SVC schools would love to play an SHL schedule...

Did 757 win the district in 88? Catcher was Crabtree? Lots of talent in the late 80's for 757...beat some good portsmouth teams...believe me, iknow!

And I have to believe that the SVS coaches have a tendency to vote the POY from league champs...Kinda like COY always being from team that wins it all...

I believe the title is best pitcherS in the area, so I stand by my statement concerning the U's 3 studs. Agreed Farmer is the best...he just cant pitch every night!

Unioto has three of the best around...Arledge, Woods and Tisdale. The SVC will be forced to deal with them EVERY NIGHT! M-W-F!

So many great pitchers over the years in the SVC. How did Stauffer do in college? What an amazing story to lead the Bearcats to a State Championship. The stories he can tell his grandkids! Pitching wins baseball games and The U has a lot of it! That being said, no way anyone will run away with this one...too many great teams. The SVC will once again show well in the tourney.

Very tough team in a very tough league. Depending on how the weather affects the schedule, Piketon could win it all! They are more than just Farmer.

Unioto and Huntington will challenge for the SVC title, but as long as Laura Smith is at Adena I would not pick against them...should be a great year!

Top players = Top Coaches. Some coaches put in way more time and know way more than others, but let's put some of these coaches in historically losing programs and they will lose. Sad but true...
