I think the Shenandoah QB will develop into someone who you will have to learn to slow down because you won’t be able to stop him completely. They showed some grit but they were out classed by River. Looking like they might not be truly tested again until the semifinal in the region.

Fort scores before halftime to tie it up. Caldwell recovers the onside to start the second half and has it inside the 15 and throws a bad pick that gets returned nearly for a score. It’s NC with a gap to River this year that gap may be smaller than previous years and then it’s another gap from River to Caldwell and quite literally “the rest” after Caldwell. I think it was easy to pencil in NC vs River in the final and thus far through the season nothing has changed that opinion.

Probably the best matchup of the weekend. Seems like it could be a coin flip game but with that said you always have to go with the better coached team, River pulls it out in a high intensity one.

One of the best facilities in not just D7 but arguably the eastern part of the state. Beautiful campus all the way around. It’ll be a running clock though in favor of River to start the half most likely.
