The 2016 Western team finished 3 games below .500 during the regular season. They was no where near better than Waverly that year. Kyle just out coached some teams come tournament time that year.

Eastern had to many layups. Their size advantage played a huge part in the game. They handled Piketons press very well after the first 2min of the game. They did a great job on the boards limiting Piketon to one shot a possession.

Waverly should crawl up a couple this week. A win against Burg and a win against Minford. I’m not saying too 8 but I think maybe a spot or 2 . Well Waverly is 6-1 a third of the way through the season. I think it’s a great start to the young season. I honestly don’t think they have played any where near there best ball to this point of the year. Lots of ball left keep grinding guys.
