Pretty impressed with the young FF team. All games are good experience for this team and they definitely have a shot at winning.

Losing Borich will hurt next year but the team should continue to improve. Not a lot in this years 8th grade but 7th is strong.

Both FF boys teams defeated Shenandoah tonight. Pretty sure I am talking to myself...but thats ok!
Season is almost wrapped up.....2 make up games to play then Washington county tourney.

In 2017, The PVC was a two-team race between Fort Frye and Shenandoah. I don't know any reason that would change next year. Just had to post after watching a team struggling while their counterparts are one of the best teams in the league. Just did not seem right to me.

Try looking into your 13 year old kids eyes, who hasnt missed a practice, attended summer workouts, works in the driveway whenever possible, goes to skills camps, personal workouts and has a pretty good attitude, congratulates his teammates when they come off the floor, cheers for the team etc, and...

This team had 15 kids on the B team and I think 11 on the A team.
Ita just hard to watch kids struggling....they barely broke double digits. I am glad they get to play, but would it not benefit more to habe the teams mixed up? How much pressure to win should there be at this level?

How do you feel about "stacked" teams? Is it beneficial for the kids? How does it help programs? For example, Marietta has 2 teams each-7th and 8th. One group is very talented, the other has a couple kids with talent and the rest have little to no skills. I am torn because, yes those kids ...

Both ff teams lost tonight in the worst officiated game I have ever seen. Caldwell has 2 players who are among the best in the area.

Fort Frye beat Frontier both 7th and 8th grade last night. 8th grade came back from a 20 point deficit to win by 4.

FF plays @ Caldwell Wed. Dec 20.

Only event FF boys are lacking will be hurdles, unless someone steps up. Should take most distance events. Relays are always an issue but numbers were up last year so looking for improvement there.
Trail normally has a bigger team which definetely helps them out.

Jealous. This is also a dream of mine. I have realized that aside from winning the lottery...i will never have the time and money.
