Re: Piketon @ Zane Trace

Does Piketon truly need as many coaches as Waverly?

Anyways, it sounded like an amazing game. Both teams should be proud of their effort and keep building on their way to a rematch down the road, which could still be for a piece of the SVC Championship.

Re: Division 2 Southeastern Sectional

1. Fairland 2. Unioto 3. Gallia Academy 4. Waverly 5. Zane Trace 6. Jackson 7. Miami Trace 8. Hillsboro 9. Washington Court House 10. Greenfield In my opinion, Gallia wants to avoid Waverly or Zane Trace in a Sectional Championship game. I really think a fully mature Zane Trace vs Fairfield Union ma...

Re: 2017-18 Logan Cheiftains

Logan has picked up a Jan 26th game against Whitehall . Both teams were supposed to play Huntington Prep Blue in separate Tourneys but Huntington opted out for lack of players . Game will be played at Jim's Gym . This fills out the 22 game schedule . Really good game to get for Logan. Whitehall has...

Pioneers by 13. They have the size that will give the Redstreaks fits and Evans will be able to handle any pressure that will be put on as well.

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio Week #4 - Christmas Edition ...

Hope to make more sense out of the next ranking as I look at NY sitting behind 3 teams they beat. Could be because they play the worst non conference schedule for any division 3 team in the state of Ohio. In their 10 out of conference games, the Buckeyes play 2 D3 schools and a D1, with 2 of those ...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)

No disrespect to Robertson (he could very well make the Convo this year)....but I’d take Barrick over every single coach in the SE District I was being way too strong in my posts. Robertson does a fine job, but I agree with you completely, Barrick is head and shoulders above 95% of the coaches in t...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)

Toast———Robertson over Barrick . LOL. U take this years award for dumbest post of the year, congratulations , at least Waverly won something tonight!!!! Probably one of the 9 assistants. I like the idea to have as many assistants on the bench as players, if I get back into coaching, I'm going to go...

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)

No one in this tourney is going to outcoach Barrick! I'm sure Barrick does a nice job but I'll take coach Robertson from Waverly. All he's done is win this tournament 5 of the last 7 years and with very average talent and teams that don't have much size. The record speaks for itself. Most people th...

Barrick is amazing. Mixes old school and new school really well. Let's his guys play to an extent and reels them in when they need it. Got down really big early and they never looked rattled.

Re: Fairland vs Cox Mill (NC)

That was an AAU game. No real defense, minimal offensive sets. They were facing a much better team, but there wasn't any real effort to gain anything from that game. Throw it up the court for a 3. Maybe VanHorn gets an offensive rebound, but that was the only way he was touching the ball on offense....

Re: Waverly holiday classic (Who you picking?)

I agree I agree with Piketon being able handle the press Veach and Blanton are both good ball handlers and should be able to handle the pressure. None of their guards will struggle with the pressure no prolly not BC when it gets tough the use TP to handle it. Once again Piketon doesnt have any guar...

Uhh, didn't they just get popped for recruiting kids into New Boston? Or is that coach suspension just for fun?

Good breakdown of the game!

Nice win for the Sherman Tanks for sure. Both of those teams are going to win a lot of games this season.
