No dog in this fight but I've read 5 different names from Athens as potential POY's as well as mention of Coach Cozart as COY candidate. Their record is 10-9? I must be missing something.... :roll: I was thinking the same thing. By reading Preps you’d think Athens was a serious contender for a trip...

Would love to see a great effort out of the Buckeyes tonight. A big shooting night out of Perry & Seal along with some inspired D; who knows.

Lot of names thrown around.......I say we throw em a ball & go one on one for POY. Bring in the Wellston kid / the NY kid / both Athens & Vinton kids & have a tourney! Donate proceeds.

I believe Athens coach has done a masterful job at piecing the talents together to make a winning team. They do not, however have 1 player who can claim POY. They have 2 bigs who are outstanding but don't run the floor so good - they have a couple nice shooters who aren't so strong at D and reboundi...

Simple personel decisions regarding who runs the offense could have fixed it. 2 soph's who are not "playmakers" running the offense. Both will be fine players but it killed them this yr. Leadership starts at the top

57-62 - Meigs with the win! NY was up around 15. Had control. Then we try stall ball with 6-8 minutes left. Definitely outcoached - why he had them do that is beyond me. We had momentum and scoring easy. Then it all stopped. NY scored a few points from that point forward. Sadness continues in Bucht...
