Re: League play only schedule

The SOC 2 took the same order of conference games and just moved them up starting week 2. First games for the teams should be found soon.

From looking at team photos, I think you are right on the spot.

Re: League play only schedule

Combine the OVC with SOC for this year, have a big Division and small Division. Wheelersburg, Waverly, West, Ironton, Portsmouth, Gallia Academy, Minford. Rock Hill, Chesapeake, Fairland, Coal Grove, Oak Hill, South Point, Valley. How can you decide who’s in what division though? Off of record or s...

Re: League play only schedule

Gonna be interesting to see how the schedules get set up as well. For example, West and Burg are usually a week 10 game but could be like the Big Ten with OSU and TTUN the game got moved to the middle of the season. It would definitely be weird for rivals across the state to be playing in the middle...

Re: OHSSA shortens season

Gonna be tough to schedule, especially in the SOC 2 where you don’t have enough teams for a 6 games schedule. Wonder if they will look for an out of conference game or randomly play another team in the conference.

Portsmouth West had 48 show. Heard from a friend who’s son is on the team. Would be a big improvement from last years 34.

I was just told that a football player has tested positive at Portsmouth West. Putting them out until August 3rd. Not looking good.

Re: The real 2020 season

What do you like about your team? Some athletic lineman this year ranging from sophomores to seniors. Got some speed on the outside with some upcoming freshman and a few sophomores (also returning the leading receiver). Then the backfield is looking pretty strong with Hunter Brown (senior back who ...

Re: 2020 Football Season

I’ve decided to do some research. I was very confused to as why Scioto county can possibly be on the same level as Hamilton county. Scioto has not even close to 1 percent infection rate (0.001) whereas Hamilton has a 2 percent infection rate. Yet when looking at the area of both, Scioto has more squ...

Re: Ironton Fighting Tigers Football 2020

Does anyone know if the Tigers are playing Marion Local this year? Keep seeing it on twitter and thought someone would know on here. Arbiter still lists them as playing Russell. Now, with that said... it stands to reason if the State of Ohio prohibits teams from playing out-of-state opponents or &q...

I’ve been told Valley only had around 15 kids showing up for workouts so that may be a strong possibility.

Any insight on the candidates?
From what I heard it was 2 assistants from last years staff, 2 past college coaches, Valleys coach, and a coach from Kentucky.
