Re: 2019 SOC 1
Green with back to back championships are the favorites until someone steps up and beats them. Last 3 years 33 and 3 in the league.

Rolled shorts are no illegal, unless a draw string is left out or a visible manufacturer logo is present. Headbands can be black, beige, white, or primary uniform color, unless it is a hair control device then color doesn't matter.

Re: 1,000 point scorers
Give me the guy who will sit down and play defense, pass when he should , get on the floor when the ball is loose, and score 10 or 12 a game. Give me 5 of them and I will win championships.

Re: Why are Central district officials calling Southeast district games
It's the fact that the southeast gets 10 regional spots for officials this year. The state mandates that regional crews work 1 or 2 district games together as to become familiar with each other. And I believe there were southeast officials working central games this year ,also.

Right for a and b. When you lift the pivot foot you can pass or shoot. To start a dribble pivot foot has to be on the floor , the ball has to be released before the pivot foot is lifted.

Ok A1 in possession of the ball, establishes his right foot as his pivot foot , he then steps with the left and either (a) passes ( b) shoots or ( c) dribbles. Make the call in all 3 cases

Re: Block, charge , or get up
Charge , once a legal guarding position is established, then the defender can move his/ feet to maintain said position. Wipe off the basket, t up the coach and move on. The fact that the defender is under the rim is of no significance in high school basketball.

Re: What's the Call
Ok since none will bite, it's a block because the defender to establish a legal guarding position, must be on the floor. If judged the try started before the foul then count the basket and shoot one.

Block, charge , or get up
A1 driving the lane, b1 facing a1 , b1 thinks better about trying to take the charge backs straight back for 2 steps, a1 dunks then wipes out b1 . What's the call.

What's the Call
A1 driving the baseline , b1 sets up , one foot on the baseline, like we have all been taught to do. A1 lowers his shoulder and runs over b1 , shoots and ball goes in. What's the call?

Re: Buzzer/Clock...Referees please
If in a bonus situation you shoot the foul shots. The clock is another issue , to put time on the clock one of the officials has to have definite knowledge of how much time was left when the whistle blows. We are not allowed to guess or randomly put time , one of us has to see the clock So if no off...

Re: Buzzer/Clock...Referees please
Ok Staying with the clock. Near the end of the game, shot with a long rebound, A rebound, B fouls A ,whistle an a blink if the eye later , horn goes off. What do the officials do.

Re: Buzzer/Clock...Referees please
Just an fyi . If when the clock is stopped and shows 3 tenths of a second or less, by rule there cannot be a shot attempt, it must be a tip to count.
