Full disclosure, I have 2 kids in the county schools right now who are pretty good at football, basketball and baseball. Am I a fool for just wanting to send them to school where we live (RV district) or do I need to transfer them like everyone else? What’s the benefit?

I honestly didn’t even know Gallia county kids play AAU basketball. Like Nike EYBL? Surely not, right?

I’m not originally from the area. Can someone tell me why so many RV kids go to Gallia? Does Gallia recruit them? Does Gallia feel weird winning with needing to take the County kids?

Reed at RV would make this team very interesting. I’ll be pulling for the Raiders in this one.

Fairland takes girls basketball very serious. They get kids to transfer in from surrounding schools even at the very young grades.

Things got quiet when the legitimacy of the transfers were brought into question here.

Sorry guys, just thought I was being realistic. Looks like I’m in the minority here of not seeing this team as a state title contender.

I’d say those state title hopes took a hit this weekend for the Trojans. Getting back into the top half of the OVC should probably be where the goals shift to.
