Not sure how a team can be a true district champion when you play another southeast district team in the regionals. Of course our schools are always competing deep into the tournament, we play each other until the regional finals.

Farrfield's largest lead was 15 late in the first half and they were up 12 at the half. Eastern got closer in the beginning of the third and it was close the rest of the way. I think Fairfield wins this one. I think they have more overall talent, just a matter of whether they can put it together for a whole game. They have had a very streaky year but regardless of who wins, I wouldn't want to play either team in Athens.

He's getting his college paid for to play basketball on the D2 level so I'll take being just a good player any day. College programs are generally pretty good at making players better.

IMO Fairfield, based on expectations, is the biggest disappointment around thus far.

Both teams coming off wins on Friday night, gotta take trace in this one.
