Re: Miami trace @ Fairfield-leesburg 12/8
Trace will be one of the only teams leesburg plays that will be more athletic than them, they have beat trace the last few years but I think that streak will come to an end this year. Fairfield's Quentin Williams gets frustrated and struggles when he can't go by more athletic defenders.

Need All-Ohio Teams from 1994-2002
I have tried to find links to the All Ohio baseball teams from 1994-2002, especially 1998 but cannot find them anywhere. Can anyone provide me with a link or the team lists?

Re: Is there any talk of another division for basketball?
Wasn't there talk not long ago of a system that would add to your enrollment in order to move up a division based on a number of factors such as whether you had open enrollment, how far you advanced in the tournament in previous years, etc?

Re: About time for a pre-season top 10 !
Saw Fairfield play in the Waverly tournament over the summer, looked very good, saw them beat North Adams, Peebles and Waverly to win the tournament. They will surprise anyone who has not seen them.

Re: Highland County Shoot Out 6-30-12
Have only seen a couple of these schools so far this summer, Fairfield looked good when I saw them. Whiteoak should be very strong. Hillsboro lost a lot but always seems to be more athletic than the other county schools. Should be a good day of basketball

Heard Fairfield went 6-0 on the day (10-0 on the summer now) and beat Waverly by 9 in the finals. Gonna be a bad night for anyone playing them next year.

Division 3 in the Southeast District is very tough, I doubt Ripley would make much noise.

Fairfield should have quite a size advantage but if they shoot the way they did against Clay they will be in for a long night.

Williams did play limited minutes with a mask. 14-12 at halftime, one of the worst first halves I have seen. Cox got more involved in the offense in the 2nd half and Fairfield pulled away.

Any word on whether Fairfield's point guard Quentin Williams will be playing against Portsmouth Clay? I heard he had nose surgery last week.

Re: Division IV District Player of the Year, Blevins or Cox?
I believe Cox missed four games, not half the season. I may be incorrect, but didn't Blevins miss some games due to injury last year? Missing games doesn't seem to be an automatic disqualification. Glad I could make you laugh.

Re: Division IV District Player of the Year, Blevins or Cox?
The title of the post wasn't meant to snub any other candidates, these two are simply the frontrunners in my opinion. The Combs kid from Manchester is having a good year and may take some votes away from Blevins. You'd think the district POY would have to be one of the district 13 or 14 poy, but was...

Division IV District Player of the Year, Blevins or Cox?
Any thought on who should win the District POY award in Division IV this season? I know Manchester's Blake Blevins received the award last year so he is probably the front runner. I believe Chris Cox from Fairfield should have won last year as he outplayed Blevins in both head to head meetings last ...

I'm hearing Fairfield's point guard, Quentin Williams, broke his nose against Hillsboro and may be out for the rest of the year. The Lions may lose a step if he's not playing.

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #11
Not sure of the exact score but Fairfield won by around 15, they were up by over 20 in the fourth. Cox had a nice alley-oop dunk on a fast break.

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #11
In Fairfield's sectional, I believe the top six seeds only have to play one game in Lucasville to get to Athens. I would think they will be a top six seed, but with 7 SOC schools and 3 SHL schools in the sectional, you never know what you're going to get. I wouldn't mind seeing them play 2 games in ...

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #11
Fairfield destroyed Adena on Saturday night while Cameron Rolark broke the single game 3 point record at Fairfield with 11 three pointers and scored 43 points. I look for Fairfield to ride that momentum to a win at home over Manchester on Tuesday.

Re: Southeast District D4 Rankings 2-2-11
Good point, but, all the SOC schools are a great distance away from Whiteoak and Fairfield and would not bring in near the revenue of schools that are closer and larger. Money plays a part in everything. If they are good enough, they'll get out of the sectional despite their seed.
