Waverly stands a good chance of winning the district, they should be in the mix for sure. It's about peaking at the right time. Sounds like Sheridan will be a tough matchup for anyone in D2 this season.

Last 2 years Waverly has had a ton of Hype but seems to fall flat in conference play . Kinda hard to believe you have a d-1 level pitcher and some other kids playing at the next level but cant show any consistency in the SOC2 .

SOC2 is a tough conference.

Waverly beat Oak Hill handily tonight 8-1. Waverly pitching was dominant from start to finish. Tigers hit the ball all over the field. The league will be decided between Waverly and Burg. Only run Oaks scored was on an error.

Jeepmadness i totally get where your coming from. It will be interesting and exciting to see how the season unfolds. I think most teams in the SOC will be very evenly matched this year.

I don’t see any absolute favorites. It will be a battle of matchups each night. Who can be consistent? This is where oak hill is dangerous. Burg has shooters. But they seem to live by the 3-ball. Tigers should roll in league play this season returning every pitcher from last season, and lots of talent. Tigers only lost 3 seniors from last years district championship team.

Yes i think so. Especially after seeing out of conference scores. OVC might be the 2nd best conference. Coal Grove will finish as conference champion and Minford who will probably finish 3rd or 4th in SOC 2 beat C.G. by almost 10 runs.
