This was no a tournament game today though. Sounds like a great game between two great squadsdirt_cinders wrote: ↑Mon May 07, 2018 8:39 pm Notre Dame wins at Ironton 2 - 1.
18 - 5 with 4 of those losses by 1 run.
Nice season considering they lost their slated #1 pitcher and only returned 3 starters.

Re: 2018 Season Stats
I am not sure how anyone could cheat on stats and still be able to sleep at night. I know there are people like that though. You are just cheating the kids, and they know who has hit or fielded the best all year long. The proof is with the team who plays together day in and day out. If you are doing...

Re: 2018 Season Stats
I wasn’t thinking of how the stats can be changed depending on who is keeping the book like a parent as a coach. I can see now why these stats aren’t published. Stats needs to be verified to show accuracy. Everyone has made great points and don’t post stats please.

Re: 5/5 scores
There are a lot of teams in the area that have fans and coaches who don't know how to just let the kids play the game and take enjoyment in watching. These umpires are doing the best that they can and just do it for the love of the game. They aren't MLB umpires and do make mistakes at times. Whateve...

2018 Season Stats
I know in another thread that we were discussing the lack of team stats that can be read and followed by the members of the community. I know there are a lot of coaches that post on here and/or read the threads. Can you post your team's stats on this thread including batting averages and pitching?

Re: SOC I Standing
It would definitely be an additional selling point for PDT if they would keep and print the stats of local teams. I know it would take a lot of coaches cooperation to actually send in those stats though. I am sure with all the technology available that there is an app that would quickly send those s...

Re: D4 Southeast Draw
I completely agree that nobody benefits from a mercy rule game. I also understand why the conferences have a big and small school. You are the one the mention the larger schools such as Minford, West, and Northwest having weaker programs at the younger age and the SOC I schools beating these team re...

Re: 4-30 Scores
Kids will definitely be kids and some of the chants that they yell while the pitcher is throwing is definitely unacceptable. Many coaches just think it is funny or have little to no discipline with their clubs. The coach needs to be a role model to lead by example and teach good sportsmanship. It do...
Re: OVC
Congratulations to Coal Grove and Gallia... sounds like two good quality teams. Does anyone know how many seniors that each of these squads have this year?

Re: D4 Southeast Draw
I think number of games played only played a small part. I think who you played was another part and how you played against other teams. I think that's what hurt St. Joe. Yeah, they were 7-2 but 7-2 playing some pretty WEAK talent. They didn't have to go against the Clays and Notre Dames. The West ...

Re: 5/2 Games and Scores
Symmes Valley's coach has been coaching for 20+ years and can pull off a win at any time with his leadership. Clay and ND have a lot of talent and pitching for the next few years. The SOC I will be between these three teams for the next few years for sure.

Re: SOC II
The SOC II is just stronger in all aspects of sports in this area at the current moment. This can always change but the level of competition is just so much better in the SOC.
