Re: Portsmouth lady Trojans
Impressive performance from the Dragons. Rotation is 8 deep. All 8 can handle & all 8 can shoot it. I kinda thought they may struggle with Portsmouth’s size but I was way wrong. Dragons sped the game up early with pressure defensively & Portsmouth just couldn’t slow the game down. As mention...

Re: Clash at the Coliseum Warren High School Fri/Sat Nov 25,26 !!!
It’s getting closer … Anyone providing real time updates/reports today from the Clash? I won't be going till a little later but jv games are free on YouTube, varsity games are streamed for I believe $10 for the day. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GIe4TSd1RPU Where is the stream for the varsity games...

Re: Shot Clock?
Probably in the minority here but would personally love to see a 30 second shot clock. Teach kids how to create for themselves and teammates. Sure, there will be plenty of bad shots taken but eventually the skill level of the players will improve & the game will evolve like it always does. Also ...

Burg made a run but couldn’t quite close the gap.
Union Local/Fairland should be quite the ball game.

Can’t help but think how tough of an out this team is goimg to next year.
Not sure how many points Archer ended up with but it wasn’t many.
Excited to see Pfloyds infamous napkin stats on this one

Fairland is legit. They’re gonna be a tough out in DIII for at least the next few years. Anyone heard if this one’s gonna be streamed anywhere?

Re: Eastern Brown vs. Fairland District Final
50-47 Fairland
Fairland couldn’t hit a shot in the first half but finally got it going. Tomi Hinkle got her 1,000th point in the 2nd half. Pretty impressive for a junior. Lady Dragons missed some free throws down the stretch that let eastern brown hang around late.

Did anyone ever say if you need 4 tickets for 4 games or one ticket is good for all 4?

SP @ Fairland is worth the watch. Porter in & out multiple times in the OTs with an injury. Clearly wasn’t himself but tried to gut it out. Great win for SP.

Re: GALLIA ACADEMY @ POINT PLEASANT Battle of the Bridge
Blue Devils never made the necessary adjustments to stop PP ground game. Officials were making sure they got plenty of TV time as well.
Don’t think I can ever recall so many injuries/cramps for one team in a single game in my life. Seemed like every play GA had someone down or limping off the field.

Re: Norm Persin to retire after this season
I'd bet a good amount of money he'll end up coaching somewhere next season. I could be wrong..... but coaching is all he knows and what he does great. There will be plenty of schools calling and if the right one does ---- I'd imagine he'll listen. I’ll just go ahead and say somewhere within 30 mile...

The list should be pretty short. Watkins should be in for sure. Joey James and Jared Taylor probably as well. I assume Roush still has most of the xC/track distance records but could be wrong there. After that there’s a few that you could consider.

Re: 2019/2020 Trimble Tomcats
Why are you all giving Coach Caldwell a hard time? The man has given 40 years of his life to coaching & making a difference in the lives of youth in Southeastern Ohio. Who cares if he’s chasing talent at this point.
