Jimmy,

Yes, the Streaks will be participating again. I hope to get a couple more high school teams this year. The Portsmouth vs. Piketon game under Friday Night Lights was exciting last year.

I was just informed the gyms will be closed this week for testing. Back at it next week, I told the kids hit the weight rooms hard this week!

Chef, Thanks...I appreciate that! We did have a nice run...I believe the success is attributed to kids working hard in the off-season and excellent assistant coaches going the extra mile. But most of all God's direction that keeps us "humble and hungry". I believe every coach would like to...

It went well tonight Chef! The young Streaks of Southworth,J. Farmer, W. Brewster, Ike Brabson, and Tyler Collier took down some vets in the best of three! We had a total of 17, plus a couple of visitors from Vinton Co. Good work for the first night!

Piketon Spring Open Gyms

Piketon boys basketball will be holding open gyms Mondays and Thursdays from 6PM-8PM @ Piketon High School starting April 11, 2011. Two full courts, high level of competition as we get top players from surrounding schools, college players and former Piketon basketball players. Open to the public.......
