Whiteoak will be joining the SHAC as a varsity program next season. Looks like they will be co-ed for atleast a year.

I think the top 5 seeds or so are set this year for D3. Burg, Northwest, South Webster, North Adams, and South Point. not sure if any outside of those 5 could win a district this year. St Joe is talented but not on the level of the big guns imo. Lynchburg the same and always plays really good soccer...

A week away from the draw, what are predictions for the boys? And potential surprises on the D2 or D3 front?

From what I’ve heard yes. I think the rumor is to have them join the SHAC for the 2024 season. Not sure if they have enough for both a boys and a girls team. Either way it’s great to see another school get soccer.

What are girls D3 records from around the district? It seems as though the usual suspects are at the top again. Lynchburg, North adams and Wheelersburg.

It seems we are halfway through the season so far, what are records for boys teams around the district? I know there are a few 1-2 loss teams around but curious to see.

Peebles 1 St Joe 0

Peebles girls defeat Washington Court House today 4-3 in a very good game. Peebles scored the winning goal with just over 2 minutes to play. They sit at 3-3 on the season.

Peebles girls beat Piketon tonight 3-0. It’s their first win as a program since 2018 or 2019 with one of those years not even having a team. It’s Coach Kierra Stones first win as a head coach for the Lady Indians.

Peebles boys and girls travel to Rock Hill tonight. Should be an interesting matchup for both teams.

Any word on scrimmages happening this weekend or next week?

The SHAC preview is this Saturday. I believe it’s at lynchburg. The only matchup I know of is Peebles vs West Union. There will be no girls preview between the two as West Union does not have enough to field a girls team this year.

Closer and closer to summer. other than Wheelersburg who will be the top teams for D3?

Should shake things up for D3...Minford has been a powerhouse the last few seasons and fairland is normally a decent seed come tournament time. Wonder how that will affect things.

Saw on social media that Ironton voted to have soccer as a high school varsity sport this upcoming fall. What conference will they be in? The ovc?
