Re: D1 College Football Prospects in Southeast Ohio
I believe Spires transferred from Vinton Co. Icenhower transferred 2 years ago to Jackson from Point Pleasant. I have no idea who Loveday is. The 7’ kid going to Ohio State and I was thinking of Winters. He’s also from River Valley. The jr high kid? I’m not sure who a 7’ kid is going to Ohio St?

Re: D1 College Football Prospects in Southeast Ohio
Nothing against any of these kids who have been mentioned....but there is a huge difference in “offers”. Ask any coach and they’ll tell you there are Offers that are committable offers (ones that are serious and a kid can commit right then and there) and Uncommittable offers (ones that mean absolute...

Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
Granville was definitely the better team, and I wish them well. That said, many of the players said the same thing, that they were calling cadence. I’m not saying that their coach told them, but they definitely were. However, that is not the reason JAckson lost. Granville was faster and more discipl...

Far from perfect play from anyone. Tough game against a great team. Two suggestions before next season- teach them how to tackle and teach someone to snap the ball.

Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
I was told by a friend a couple days ago that Granville was trying to move the game to the turf at White Field in Newark. Knowing I frequent the message boards I was sworn to secrecy. So I thought I would just stoke the fire and keep talking bout how muddy their field was :) The Gallia move bumped ...

Re: Region 15 #7 Licking Valley @ #2 Gallia Academy
Personally I wanna thank jackson for allowing our team play on there field ..for those complaining it's not that far its 30 to 45 minute drive lol licking valley will still have 2 hour drive we will still have home field advantage because our fans travel well and many in southeast ohio will be ther...

Re: Region 15 #7 Licking Valley @ #2 Gallia Academy
Who benefits from this? The team? The athletic boosters? The band boosters? The faithful fans? Jackson? How about the safety of the players? They might benefit. How exactly does Jackson benefit? Maybe you should try to be a ltiile bit grateful. The safety of the players? You gotta be kidding! Who c...

Re: Region 15 #7 Licking Valley @ #2 Gallia Academy
I would think Gallipolis would want to win because they are confident in their team’s ability, and not win because of forcing a team to play in a mud sewer pit.
Good grief! Typical whining Gallipolis.
Safety of the players needs to be the first priority.
Excellent decision to move it.

Re: Where does Logan go from here?
I’ve said many times, if I were Logan, I’d be calling Warren, Marietta, Jackson, Athens, and Point Pleasant and try to get the Seoal back together in some shape or form. Maybe a long shot, but what do they have to lose? Excellent idea! I’ve said the same thing for a long time now. You know some wou...

Re: Region 15 #7 Licking Valley @ #2 Gallia Academy
Are they seriously going to allow them to play this game at that disgrace of a football field. Why not move that game to Pt Pleasant or Jackson?

Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
Jackson can’t go into this game thinking they can run run run the ball. A balanced run/pass attack will be a must.
D has been improving every week. Going to be tough but it can be done.
