Sounds like you're predicting an easy win for Shady. Yeah, the SVC will never be considered a stout football conference but the OVAC will never be confused with the MAC either. This will be closer than you think.

Higher seeds always get a little closer to home but good roads all the way for both.

Maybe OHSAA didn't get that memo, #1 seed PV is 2hr 9min. to ZHS on mostly crappy 2 lane roads. #4 seed SHS 1hr.16min. to ZHS on almost all 4 lane freeway. It is what it is.

The most logical location I think would be Maysville, very similar distance for both schools. If PV's O-line can play again like last night they have a punchers chance vs. Shadyside.

Thanks for the info bsee, I know that GH lost to 3 very good teams. The 16-3 score for PV Friday was a little misleading, our offense sputtered most of the night and if not for a few small breaks could have easily lost the game. I know the field was a sloppy mess but still I think our O-line could h...

This isn't R23 but I agree that it will be over by halftime.

How far of a drive is it for SE, 2 hrs.+. Just think if Coal Grove had made it in and had to travel 3 1/2 or so hours to play a team in the same region. I know there isn't a perfect solution for OHSAA and how they divide the state into regions but I do think they could do a little better.
