Re: OHSAA releases enrollment numbers
superblue, I think your numbers will be pretty near spot-on, unless a number of schools submit adjusted enrollments later on. The prevailing trend across the divisions (even outside of SE OH), though, appears to be that Ohio schools are shrinking in enrollment pretty generally, as the cutoffs for ea...

Re: OHSAA releases enrollment numbers
I saw these estimates posted on another forum, and he is probably right within 3-4 boys either way. Again, just estimates: "My estimates based on logical breaks, tendency to keep D1 a few schools smaller and the rest even, etc. D1: 496 and up D2: 326 to 495 D3: 239 to 325 D4: 171 to 238 D5: 121...

Re: SEOAL future?
I believe you are right gahs4ever. There has been talk for at least 10 years of changes in the Buckeye div., but those schools have always been reticent to change the setup. The other two divisions have shown more willingness to change teams in the past. Also, Orange, you are correct. The realignmen...

Re: SEOAL future?
Oh, just to add for those not familiar, there are two other divisions in the MSL, but neither would be feasible for any SEOAL school to join. The Cardinal Division comprises small schools (a DV-DVI league in football), and the Ohio Division has Licking County and eastern Franklin county schools, so ...

Re: SEOAL future?
Just some info for those who may not know the MSL situation. If any SEOAL teams were to go to the MSL, it would either be to the Buckeye Division or to a new (fourth) division. The MSL Buckeye currently contains Amanda-Clearcreek, Logan Elm, Circleville, Teays Valley, Fairfield Union, Bloom-Carroll,...

Re: Regional Final D4 R15: #1 Ironton vs. #3 Hartley at Loga
Good luck to Ironton. Your program has been a model for many in the greater Southeastern part of the state for decades. Believe me, my h.s. coaches very consciously shaped their program along the same lines with great success. Hope to see you earn the victory this Friday!

Re: Regional Final- Region 19 Oak Hill vs. Fredericktown
To get to Hamilton Township: 23 North through/past Chillicothe, Circleville, South Bloomfield. Pass Scioto Downs, pass a very large cemetery (can't remember the name). Turn Right on Rathmell Rd. (last road before you reach 270, you can kind of see 270 as you get to Rathmell). Stay on Rathmell for a ...

Re: Nelsonville-York 2011 schedule
That week 4 game will be tough to fill locally. All of the MSL divisions and the SVC are in league play.
As an alum, would love to see AC hook up with NY, but would have to be in the first 3 weeks.

Re: D4 R15 #6 Amanda-Clearcreek @ #3 Hartley
victor, Listened to the game on the internet. AC controlled the ball and clock in the first half (I believe they had it all but about 4 minutes), and frankly should have gone in with at least a 3pt. lead at the half. In the 3rd quarter, the wheels fell off. AC turned the ball over 3 times (fumble on...

Re: Your school is now independent so create their schedule
Amanda-Clearcreek Being the practical sort, I limit long roadtrips :) I would keep four of the current league teams: 1. Logan Elm (very old neighboring rival, and most in my family went there) 2. Circleville 3. Fairfield Union 4. Canal Winchester sorry Bloom-Carroll, Hamilton Twp., and Teays Valley ...
