How hard do the top pitchers throw? & do any of these jr high girls hit it out of the park often? I heard some talk last year of girls hitting homer runs often. Will any these girls this year?

There is nothing wrong with stating a 8th grader PROJECTS as a D1 player. At that age they are 2nd year 14U and the major D1's are all over the top players in the nation and the mid majors are playing close attention as well. Definitely catch some games this year & see all the talent. Like to see what a D1 8th grader looks like. What positions do these girls play?

You seem very knowledgeable of area softball SOS. Would be interesting to see a team of the best 12 in the area & see if they could actually compete with the elite teams.

Don't hear much about catchers on here just usually pitchers and middle infield. Glad to see someone is putting work in

These kids must be VERY talented. There's a BIG difference in being a good player & a D1 player. Guess time will tell they're just jr high.

What kind of travel ball or ball in general does he watch? His "credentials" let him name all these standout players but didn't know who everyone on here is saying are the areas two best players?

Burg/ND no standouts? I had heard Burg has a really good 8th grader? Is she a freshman now?

When are tourney games & who are some kids to check out for the future? Sounds like softball has a lot of promise coming up!

Wow. Looks like Oak Hill is really good. Also looks like South Webster should've been talked about as one of the teams towards the top?
