Yea, last 5-8 carries were just trying to run the clock out and he was GASED! Also had 9 tackles, 8 solo so he had reason to be tired. Hopefully offense is clicking better and he can get 25-30 carries.

Waverly is 2 for their last 9 attempts in the red zone. 1-5 vs. ZT and 1-4 vs. Unioto. I would bet we have passed it on first down on 6 of the 9 and Payton probably averages one touch, no more than two on the 7 fails. I know I'm a bit biased but it doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm guessing Waverly comes out a bit slow after an emotional win at home last week. I'm guessing by late in the 1st quarter they will have control and have a sizable lead at half. Waverly will pull starters, ZT won't and the final score will look closer than the game actually was. Score at half 42-7...

Nope, I'd like to know his total yards as he's also the special teams returner as well.
