Re: Ironton softball 2021
I've lost track of Burgs grads with the missing season . Anyone venture a starting line up ? Lots of the 12u LL WS champs are now freshman , or Soph's ?? I was talking to a couple of the Burg girls last night and there were like 7-8 that play top level travel ball...Hughes, Sturgill, Eller, Eaton, ...

I think it depends on what else ironton has. You have to score to win. The pitcher isn’t un-hittable.Areukidinme wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 3:41 pm Burg and Ironton for district dominance this year. Can the Ironton pitcher stop the Burg offense? Will be an instant classic.

Re: Wheelersburg softball 2021
This team also lost a lot of seniors that didnt get to play out their last season. What will the team roster look like this year. Who plays where? Will they make a deep tournament run? How far will they go? Let's just hope they don't decide to shut eveything down again. But on a positive note.. Bur...

Re: Playoff tickets
I would assume that tickets will be available to parents first and would be split evenly between schools. At most facilities that would mean no tickets for the public. 15% at Nelsonville-York is around 400 people. I doubt that in 2 weeks when the Buckeyes play their will be any tickets left for the...

I agree, my point exactly. It doesn't seem like certain schools are even trying to be fair about who they pass out tickets to.

Re: Week 2 Minford at Burg
I'll go on record by saying I am willing to pay top dollar for a ticket to this one. I'm sure there is a student out there who would sell theirs for some extra cash. Apparently some students are able to get tickets but some are not. How that is even close to being fair or makes any sense is beyond ...

High School students should be able to attend also. If they can be inside a classroom all day together, then they should be able to attend a game outside. Friday night football games are important and a big part of the high school experience for non athletes also. If they aren't allowed to be at the...

So what’s the point in all of this? How is this really preventing the “spread” vs a normal schedule? I’m glad they will get a season but this seems like a huge mess.

It doesn’t matter.. heart disease is preventable. Same as diabetes but we aren’t all concerned about shutting down McDonald’s to keep us safe from that though are we? Wow! Not everyone who has diabetes and heart disease inherited it.. so you're saying I'm making false claims by pointing out they are preventable diseases? Good lord, I just can't deal with the narrow-minded idiocy anymore. I'm out.

Re: All Eyes Are On Texas...Football In The Fall Or Spring? Ohio????
It’s absolutely true, many who test positive have to repeat a test over and over until they test negative so they can return to work. So one person could account for two or even more “positive cases”. Fact. Nah.........they got it played better than that.......Once you test positive......they will ...
