Yep!! Just go look at walmart and see how crazy everyone is acting over toilet paper!! I did see Indiana HSAA is continuing spring sports as scheduled. It said regular season games may be conducted at the discretion of the members school..

Re: Coronavirus: What happens to the season?

I just don’t know why the NCAA flipped out and cancelled everything. Why didn’t they suspend then reevaluate in a couple of weeks? I hope the OHSAA isn’t so quick to cancel. It’s not “just a sport” to some. No season would be devastating to some.

Re: Coronavirus: What happens to the season?

There's no need to freak out and cancel schools and spring sports right now. What good is closing schools going to do? First of all, that age group isn't even at risk. If we're afraid of spreading to the elderly, then don't visit grandma and grandpa until this this over. Kids aren't going to stay h...

Re: OHSAA Tourney and COVID-19

Just listened to Washington states governor and he had a very good point. Since children are at such a low risk anyways, how are school closures really going to be effective when many health care workers will have to leave their jobs due to no child care?

Re: OHSAA Tourney and COVID-19

My problem with this is, why are we so focused on limiting attendance to sporting events? If we do that, then we need to limit customers at walmart, restaurants, church, concerts etc. I'm disappointed in the ohsaa for going along with this recommendation. They know how big this is for the kids, fami...

Re: Oak Hill @ Wheelersburg 1/28

Everyone has different opinions on this but I never understood not choosing player of the year from the winning team. I mean, how often is player of the game awarded to a player from the losing team? If you are an outstanding player on a team not as good, obviously your stats are going to be outstan...

Let them dress up and do the chants. Do people really get offended or are they just salty?? We did this stuff when I was in high school! There's a lot worse things those kids could be out doing... Let them have some fun!!

I can’t believe how butt hurt some people are over a fake butt. LOL Some of you need to stop being so sensitive. If you can’t handle it, maybe you should stay home.

Re: OVC Previews (Nov-15-2019)

I watched the Foundation Game last night between the Gallia girls and the Oak Hill girls. Not knowing the situation or anything, I was just really surprised by how very few girls were on the Gallia team. Unless I missed something or they may have some kids hurt, I think they only dressed 7 girls. I...

Re: Early outlooks for the SOC1/SOC2 in 2020 ?

Some people are real quick to judge someone without having a clue about the circumstances around why some families move. I think the majority of these families were looking to relocate anyways... and no doubt Burgs success and higher academics drew them there. I don’t think they are uprooting their ...

A lot of immaturity and jealousy going on in this forum... many as you can tell have multiple user names so they can bash people including kids.

Re: All-Conference and All-District Teams

I've always been of the mindset that SOME , not all , want them delayed as long as possible to bring as little light to the tomfoolery that goes on. Its this way every year . Softball is weeks after baseball , and gets next to zero coverage. Its a shame the players who invest lots of work deserve t...

Congrats to Rylie Hughes and Boo Sturgill of Wheelersburg. Boo was Second Team All Ohio and First Team All District Rylie was All Ohio Honorable Mention and 1st Team All District. Both also good kids. I've not really seen any of these kids not be humble of their accomplishments. Congrats to all!
