How good is Ironton offensively? I'm not sure , not seen them play enough , but if they want to go deep and make a state run they need to greatly increase the quality of the schedule . The more you see good pitching the better chance you have to scratch out a few runs in a regional final or final 4...

I can see now how easily it could have happened. Not sure why they would even make a separate Ghost that can't be used in ASA or high school..

Eller was very impressive for Burg. Switch hitter with speed that can slap or hit from the right side.

Anyone else play for Ironton? Doesn’t someone have to be making these plays. Come on, give your D some credit too.

Shouldn't use illegal bats no matter what type of player you are. I'm just curious as to why the bat was illegal?

Well done Lady Tigers, I’ve thought all season Keegan and Katie were the top tier pitchers. Ironton just shows that players home grown can go far in this. I like when people say o they live in our school district now, but all star teams , doesn’t make automatic state champs, or even regional champs...

Trust me, losing earlier than expected in then tournament does not mean the grass isn’t greener!! You and rocket have no idea what you’re talking about and no idea the circumstances around why some of these young ladies transfer.

Maybe kids wouldn’t move or transfer out if their program was “loyal” to them or show interest in building around talent rather than small town politics running people off.

Fairfield had 1 earned run I believe. Ok so today they were the better team.

kids are taught "teamwork" all season but at the end of the season, a couple players on that team get special recognition or awards... but on what basis?

You say any team can be beat on any day, then you make the statement that Ironton beat a team that "Burg couldn't?" I'm certain that it wasn't because they "couldn't". Burg beat Hurricane and Hurricane just beat Spring Valley 8-0. Then, you use the excuse that Ironton lost to a D...
