You keep editing and changing your post lol. My point was that I did disagree that the success of this years team wasn’t because a bunch of better freshmen replaced graduating seniors as was previously implied. Many factors contributed this teams success including the younger players being a year ol...

Re: 2022 SOC2 Thread, scores, standings and schedules... post all year.
That was never said unless I missed it. You’re just stirring the pot. The only thing I remember being said was someone saying all of these incoming freshmen would be better than the past years seniors and I didn’t see any freshmen starting other than the SS who was very good.. I think everyone knew ...

As far as West, they make too many mistakes and not as good 1-9 as Burg. I don’t see them beating Burg the second time either.

Re: Any Sept 1st offers of note ?
Not only money but my daughter for example could have went to a smaller D1 and maybe not even played her freshman or sophomore years and maybe just been a DH. She wasn’t interested in that at all. The point for her was to play ball, she didn’t care about impressing anyone with that D1 commitment.

Re: Ironton 2022
I mean, I just find it funny that you’re on here putting down girls who all at one point had D1 looks, even offers, at their positions. Before Eller got hurt you had those 3 seniors plus Eaton in the infield and you thought they were a weak HS infield LOL

Re: Ironton 2022
My thoughts too Dan. But this guy, at the beginning of last season, talked about how weak the infield was before they even lost Eller to injury..

Re: Ironton 2022
Burg should be better in 2022. may not hit as many HR's but will be much better defensively and will have more pitching depth to give howard some rest during regular season. In my opinion their best team will probably be 2023 I assume there will be some incoming freshmen that will help defensively?...

Re: 2021 Softball Signings
Shawnee made a good hire , the former assistant from Lindsey Wilson is a good guy and a hard worker -- he knows how to recruit to win. They will be looking to be a player in the Mid South conference but that conference is the best NAIA conference in America -- easily . Its extremely difficult to re...

I’ll just leave it as this... as far as the post season awards, I feel like they were pretty fair this year. Eaton was the best in soc 2 and McDermotts performance against burg and a strong finish probably helped a lot with her getting pitcher of the year. Congrats to all

Re: SOC 1 Predictions
I always felt like POY should come from the winning team. If a team is good enough to beat everyone else, there has to be at least one kid deserving on that team. I also get tired of “stats don’t matter”.. if they don’t matter, then why do we even keep them? I can look at 2 players stats against the...
