Coal Grove could be competitive for a quarter, maybe two, but Fort Frye’s offense is a nightmare for those who haven’t seen it live. You have to be able to spread the field to some degree to beat them, and CG can’t do that. The Hall kid is going to get his, but it won’t be easy for him. FF- 56 CG- 21

Take a look at the schedule Lucas played this year. Would like to see something similar. Going independent sounds great until you put together a schedule with schools that are, on the whole, bigger than you. Ironton did it for years and FF has done it recently. Cool atmosphere, god-awful officiating are the first two things that come to mind for Barnesville. If Burg gets ahead, they’ll want to start fighting too.
