Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)
Waverly 31 Gallia 21
Waverly has played the tougher schedule, and playing at home, the Tigers should come out on top in this one. If Waverly takes care of business they should be playing the winner of the 2 vs 7 matchup.

Re: What has happened to Logan Elm football?
Logan Elm's deepest playoff run was to a regional final in Bart's first year, going 0-10 from the previous year to 12-1. Following year they advanced to second round. Most years Bart was there they were competitive in playoffs, with the exception being the Thurgood Marshall game when they snuck in ...

Re: Waverly (7-2, 3-1) @ Oak Hill (5-4, 3-1)
No offense to the Oaks, but if this is a trap game in week 10, then the Tigers don't deserve to play week 11. This is by far the weakest region we've been in...probably ever. I wouldn't put this team in the top 10 teams to play at Waverly, but I think they have a chance to make some playoff noise i...

Re: Waverly (7-2, 3-1) @ Oak Hill (5-4, 3-1)
This Waverly team has improved defensively as the season has went on. Not sure I would agree with that statement after giving up 64 points in the past 2 weeks and with an average of 25 ppg allowed on the season. The offensive line and RB are their strong suits, but defensively they need to tighten ...

Re: Waverly (7-2, 3-1) @ Oak Hill (5-4, 3-1)
Imo Licking Valley is the heavy favorite to win the region but Waverly is capable of beating anyone else in the region. If the Tigers can avoid Licking Valley the 1st 2 rounds they could very possibly be playing for a regional championship.

1993 13-1 ironton and Jermon Jackson with only loss coming in the state championship game to Wauseon vs 2000 Portsmouth.
JoJo vs Jermon can you imagine having those 2 backs on the same field going at it ? WOW is all i can say about that matchup.

2000 Portsmouth vs 2017 Burg. Athletes all over field. That Portsmouth team still one of best high school teams I’ve ever seen and should have won State.* That's a d3 vs d5 , longer step than it looks on paper, we played the d5 champ that year and shut them out. However, we were more one dimensiona...

Re: What has happened to Notre Dame Football?
That was the year they went undefeated and didn't get scored on. I believe they got beat 3-0 in the playoffs. That's about all I can remember. Thanks for the info...you can't remember who they lost to? They lost to Newark Catholic, and it was 1987. Notre Dame’s two best teams was probably in 1967 o...

Re: Burg - Football History
That year West lost at home to Ironton 20-7 and lost to Burg at Burg 21-20. Would have been a good one. Good info, thanks! Didn't realize they had a common opponent that year. Sounds to me ironton and burg mirrored each other in 89 and if that’s the case, I think the 2017 burg team would’ve beat bo...

Re: Southeastern Ohio Dream Matchups
I'm thinking the 2 best of these 4 teams would've been 1989 ironton and 2017 Burg. I think the 1989 ironton line would've been the difference. After watching both teams i believe the 1989 ironton team would've won that matchup.

Re: Coal Grove (2-7) @ Rock Hill (2-7)
I'm thinking R.H. went 3-17 vs the Hornets from 1980 - 1999 does anyone have the entire series history? If I'm correct then the redmen have only beat C.G. 7 times in about 40 years.
