Wondering how Fairland is D6 in football out of 7 divisions but girls are D2 out of 3 divisions and boys go back and forth D2/D3 I basketball out of 4. I just assumed Fairland was D5 in football. Never heard anybody from burg say week 1 was a fluke. Burg was nowhere near figured out of what and where everyone needed to be to best compete. As far as Ironton being an underdog let alone a big underdog is just people trying to stir the pot. With the success Ironton has had in the past 2 seasons...

I would argue that wheelersburg has more to lose than Ironton because burg nation has said repeatedly that week 1 was a fluke and burg will win a rematch. Had more expectations maybe, but it seems most people on this thread don’t see those expectations the same. Circumstances change. I can't see Burg moving the ball on Ironton, pirates might not score a touchdown in this game. Ironton should win this one somewhere around 14-0 or 14-3.

I've watched several playoff games a Hernstein field, and it's always been a good experience. Nice atmosphere for playoff games. Should be a great matchup. I'll take the dragons by 7.

I think Portsmouth was a good choice. I can't think of a better place for this matchup. With wins over Waverly, and Ridgewood, Burg is a much better team than early on, and peaking at the right time, but with that being said, Ironton will win this game for 2 reasons: 1. I'm actually in favor of the 16 team system. This way you always get the best teams in the playoffs, even if they have a brutal schedule and don't make top 8. A team shouldn't be punished by being kept out of the playoffs for playing good competition in regular season games.
