Re: WK: 11 #6 Minford (7-3) @ #3 Wheelersburg (7-3)

As far as a team needing to win twice a decade to call it a rivalry is crazy. So if Michigan fails to beat Ohio State more than twice in a decade, they will stop playing for the golden pants and just cancel the rivalry altogether? How about other major rivalry games as well? To Wheelersburg, this i...

Re: WK: 11 #6 Minford (7-3) @ #3 Wheelersburg (7-3)

Tough to beat the same team twice in a year. Tha Burg finds themselves where they are used to finding themselves..... in the playoffs and hosting the first round inside the safe confines of Ed Miller. I believe this will be one of the reasons why Tha Burg takes this game. They are used to being her...

Re: Football Officials

What’s an average attendance in SEO? Would an extra $1 a ticket be enough to pay officials more?

I really think it’s a $$$ issue. It has to be worth the time and effort for people to get into it. You’re telling me we can’t pay HS officials a couple hundred a game?

This is the perfect matchup for Minford.

Either they are that good and get a chance to prove it this week. Or, all the prognosticators are right and they just whipped up on hot garbage until they got into SOC II teams.

That’s what I’m thinking. If you want to attract younger talent pay enough it’s worth the time and energy. I wouldn’t consider it for less than $150 a game.

Re: Football Officials

What does an official make per game? Has the shortage increased pay?

Re: What has happened to Notre Dame Football?

Per Joe Eitel going back to 2000, Coach Ashley is a combined 62-89, 1-3 playoffs at Minford and ND. I’m not sure what the records were prior to 2000 at ND as he was there a few years before that I believe. In 2000 he led ND to upset the eventual SOC II Champion Minford and finished the season 11-1. ...

Re: Week 10 Lucasville Valley (5-4) @ Minford (6-3)

Minford should be fired up to come out and take control of this game start to finish. Should being the key word.

Minford 33 - 0 Valley

Indians would love nothing more than to beat Minford and finish .500 on the year.

Minford is playing for their playoff lives, not to mention the opportunity to beat Valley for the first time since 2017, third time since 2010.

Should be an intense game.
