Worst place ever for this game,no way that place will hold the Ironton crowd,they will also overload the visitor seating 😂. I will definitely go to this one! I really like the Waverly facilities, some of the best around, and plenty of parking. Great choice by OHSAA. I went last year for the burg/HP game and really enjoyed the experience.

This team looks like they can run or pass when needed. Looks to me like the coach has wisely developed a solid passing attack because he knows he will need it to have a shot at winning a state title. I'm liking the balance.

Portsmouth should have done better. I think the Ironton/HP game should be played at Rock Hill. We always have parking spots for band busses.

Sadly the Ironton band was still late. But they sounded good when they finally got there. The band was late due to the host school not saving a place for the busses to park. 😳 Sounds petty but that needs to be addressed before they host again. I just lit a candle for those poor souls in Nelsonville that had to pick up trash in stands this morning after playoff game they agreed to host and got paid for. 😂😂😂 🤣 unbelievable! I have no idea why they are allowed to host playoff games. Not enough seating, too much grill smoke lingering around ...

Just curious as I made an observation at this game, why does #5 not get more carries? I'm sure they have their reasons but I couldn't help but notice what a strong runner the kid is. It's a head scratcher to me.
