Re: Trimble Hires Howie Caldwell as next basketball coach
It was more the fact that he didn't want to rebuild and what talent was their at Fed Hock? He won a league championship with that talent???? So I am not sure if you were aware of that or not......once again Fed isnt going to be very good and he hits the road. I bet alot of people in this world would...

Re: Trimble Hires Howie Caldwell as next basketball coach
Be interesting to see which takes a back seat first. Football which made a State Championship game or Basketball with Howie. Let the battle begin. Once again Howie follows the talent. Its easy to win games when you just leave when the going gets tough. I like Trimble kids they are hard nosed kids bu...

Re: DIV FINAL 4: EASTERN, FORT LORAMIE, ROSECRANS, HOLGATE
Tomorrow Nights game will be a track meet. Loramie gets out and runs and will look to shoot the 3 anytime they can. The Rose girl is a stud and will be a match up problem for Eastern she is very very good at putting the ball on the deck and attacking. Loramie will play a 8-10 person rotation with f...

Re: DIV FINAL 4: EASTERN, FORT LORAMIE, ROSECRANS, HOLGATE
Southern shouldn't be in the conversation with Eastern Girls. Yes what they did was impressive I am not taking anything away from them, but It is a huge difference between being a pretender and a contender. You can say all you want about Wahama but their from WV so they shouldnt count either hahaha....

Re: DIV FINAL 4: EASTERN, FORT LORAMIE, ROSECRANS, HOLGATE
Thats what I said I can't imagine them pressing Burdette she is just too good to be pressed but in the past Parker has struggled handling the basketball against good pressure and Pullins is a heck of a player but she is just a Freshman. I am very excited about this game, both team have alot of stren...

Re: TVC Hocking
Trimble will be very good, but I am not a fan of Coach Moore. I think his JV coach does a great job, but I just don't think Coach Moore is the right coach to get the Tomcats to the next level. They got beat by a very average Miller team handily in the Sectional Finals in a game where I thought they ...

Re: TVC Hocking
I have to agree with Fred. Plus playing the in the AAU championships in Mrytle Beach? I know for a fact that the biggest tournaments are in Orlando and Vegas and Speice Center in Indy. Yes I know they are everywhere but from my experience working with college teams our coaches were always in the tho...

Re: TVC Hocking
I have no idea who Grayson Wolfe is? He didn't play last year. As for Cook he will be one of the best players in the league. SuperTrooper "oh my" what is that response? Who is this Wolfe kid? A transfer I have never heard of him and I caught some Eastern games last year

Re: TVC Hocking
I watched Southern just one time and that was the tournament game when they got dismantled by Eastern. About the gym good points but I highly doubt Southerns gym will be as big as those places. In fact I heard it wasn't going to be much bigger than the old place.

Re: TVC Hocking
I guess my odds on favorite would have to be Southern. Opening up a new gym this year plus they have the best guard and the best post player on the same team with Wolfe and Drummer. Trimble will be very tough as well, just depends how long it will take them to lose there football legs. 1. Southern 2...

Re: 2013 Eastern Eagles
Big senior class graduated last year for the Eagles. I think they only had 25-27 players last year and at least 9 were seniors. There best returning athlete I believe is out for the season due to grades. Eastern could be in the bottom half this year, playing Miller early in the season maybe their on...

Re: 2013 Eastern Eagles
Are you kidding me Titletown..are you really calling Pam Douthitt one of the best AD's in the state? I will give it to you her success on the softball field is remarkable, but she is no where near the best AD in the state. Last time i heard Eastern only had one guy apply for the football job.

I heard they have narrowed down there search and will start having interviews this week. I was not able to get any names of possible canidates. Anyone have names they could share. This is a very promising job, very good freshman class, and there JH programs are loaded with talent.

Did they end up hiring someone for Alexander yet? I haven't seen a article in the Athens Messenger unless I missed it. How about down at Eastern? I heard Britton was out I am pretty sure that is the only 2 tvc schools that need coaches.

I looked on the OHSAA website and the job hasn't even been posted yet. So that makes me think Kearns will get the job. Peopel within the school have first oppurtunity. Maybe they will open it to the public here soon. Or its. Done deal with Coach Kearns

Ringo???? Out classed what is that suppose to mean. SG might be out manned but they will not be outclassed. Coach Howell will have his Rebels under control. They have a great group of young men and will play extremely hard and will show tremendous class during this game
