Wow. Really shocked by this score. Jackson fans take pride in their physicality and ability to out hit other teams. But a smooth spread offense makes that hard for your defense to square em up. Didn't get to see it but did Jackson's ground and pound work? I thought after Ironton they would manhandle...

Just heard this game is game of the week on 94.3.
My brain says Unioto, more battle tested. But my heart is rooting for a Huntington upset. A lot of excitement and anticipation for this game. Hope for a good one. Good luck to both teams. We will find out soon.

JMO, after Wheelersburg, Ironton, Jackson. That top tier of football programs in SEO. The second tier would have Waverly in it for sure. I think maybe your underestimating how good they are.

I don't think a loss to Waverly is a huge negative to Chillicothes football program or says they are going in the wrong direction. Waverly has been very good the last 5 years or so. Remember Chillicothe has been going toe to toe with Jackson for years, especially in the FAC. Just last year Chilli up...

Does anybody see a win on the schedule for SE the rest of the year? If they drop this game, they might get blanked in the win column.

I know Oak Hill lost to Wellston who is down this year. Northwest just lost to Huntington. I would say Northwest if healthy is the better team.

Wheelersburg, Ironton, Jackson...these are good programs to measure exactly how good your football team is. Some people would say for VC to play Burg would be a great opportunity. Some people would say the drive is too far. If VC travels like basketball they would bring a crowd.

As stated before. Wheelersburg, Ironton, and Jackson, these football programs are the measuring stick if you really want to see where your football team stacks up. Some people would say great opportunity, others would say too far of a drive. If like basketball, VC will travel well.

I do remember Western Brown beating Jackson a few years back. But for Jackson posters to be giving them so much respect now, years after. I guess I am just impressed with Western Browns program as a whole.

A lot of ppl from Jackson say they have a very strong defense if not the best in SEO. Is Western Browns offense that explosive? Many are calling for a shootout or at least a high scoring game here.

Southeastern is in a total rebuild. They may have 20 kids dressing on Friday nights. New coach in his second year has to find something to build on. I think Adena wins a close one by 7 and gets their first win on the season and in the SVC.

I agree. The U's non conference has been brutal. But 0-3 can play mind games with a young team. Huntington has to feel pretty good and excited about their opportunity to be above .500. What can Coach Keller dial up against Hoops to keep this one close?

Piketon has always been able to score points. Their defense was always the question mark. I know the d is improved. This year just feels different for the Streaks.

SE-Lane Ruby. Not sure where he would play but the kid was an absolute stud. SE has won one game since he graduated.

ZT is much improved. That improvement will show later on in their SVC schedule. Tough opener @ Piketon. Piketon rolls, just too explosive.

They might have beat South Point last year. Either way I think more W's are headed their way this year. Great job.
