Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

How late do restaurants stay open down there if you're hungry after the game? I know up here in Columbus they close by 10pm or earlier now.

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

I agree that this will be another dog fight of a game and that Jennings is tough...but re-watching the film Jennings has three carries in the first two drives for HP and on his fourth carry he coughs up the ball. He is number 1 correct? Also, some would credit the turnovers to Burg's defense...West...

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

I can't help but notice what a difference in strength of schedule between these 2 teams. Burg has played 5 quality opponents in my opinion ( 6 if you count Ironton twice ) and HP has only played 1. In no way do I think the HP schedule has prepared them for burg, and some may argue that burg has pla...

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

Let's not kid ourselves here, it doesn't matter who is considered the home team. Burg will have the home bleachers at Waverly, HP will be 150 ppl to the game and they'll have that visitor section. It was mentioned before that in this years format the higher seeded team is the home team, but I don't...

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

Was told earlier bleacher designation would be based on the number of presale tickets…likely using Wednesday’s numbers for a Thursday decision. I believe you might be correct on use that sale number as seating assignment or where fans sit. Doesn't change who is the home team, but I think you maybe ...

Re: Wk 14: Region 19 Final The Burg versus Harvest Prep

The #Warriors are the higher seeded team, they earned their seeding and are the home team. I would hope OHSAA honors the rules of their own tournament. I am sure 'Burg is a tough gritty team. Or they wouldn't be here. However, it would be short sighted to think Harvest Prep is not as gritty and toug...

Re: Logan, Teays Valley invited to join OCC

The last comments talking about the MSL miracously doesn't even mention the team that has run the conference for the last 8 yrs Harvest Prep. Honestly, when it comes to football - the Cardinal and Ohio just aren't that good in football. Prep has a good non league schedule next yr w Bloom Carroll, Ea...

Re: Logan, Teays Valley invited to join OCC

I would be a bit surprised if HT left for the OCC (or were even offered). Of course, I'm surprised Logan was offered a spot, so what do I know? They would be significantly smaller than any other OCC school (granted, TV and Logan are smaller than the other OCC schools also, but still outnumber HT in...
