Fairland plays an improved Chesapeake team tonight. Fairland had a starter get injured last weekend. Haven’t heard how long she will be out, but I believe that will make this a closer game than most think along with the rivalry too. Will be attending this one. Will try and give report after the game.

I wouldn’t underestimate fairland. They have a tough schedule, but they will be fine. There is some talent still there.

Fairland scrimmaged Circleville Saturday. I was told they beat them pretty bad. They scrimmage Jackson tonight and I should be able to watch this one and give my 2 cents.

She wasn’t a starter. She was from fairland, but transferred to Chesapeake. I hear she doesn’t have to sit out half the year now bc her family bought a house in Chesapeake.

I would be surprised if Fairland and Portsmouth don’t meet again in the final four. Fairland only lost one starter to graduation.

Good rundown

The Ovc had been well represented in the girls final four over the last 10 years. Fairland has 5 trips, Portsmouth 2, Ironton 1.
I believe the winner of this game will be the favorite in the finals. Going to be a great atmosphere!

That team yesterday was really good. Trojans had a lot of trouble with their defense. They couldn’t get inside at all. But that will help them in the tournament. I don’t think the woods girls scored a point and she is one of the best kids on the team. Nothing wrong with a close loss to a division 1...
