You'll enjoy the move to North Carolina. Try Rowan County which is about a 45-50 minute shot up 77 from Charlotte.
The high school sports are also great to see.

I remember watching Texas playoffs at the Astrodome back in the day. Recall the size of those kids from New Braunfels.

Not sure when the 'mercy rule' kicks in for games in PA, but Ironton should be able to have it by halftime.
Shame the Ironton A.D. couldn't find a better opponent. Uniontown did win 4 games a year ago.

There were a lot of Beallsville kids making impact on River girls/boys basketball. I can see more for football this season. Lot of playing time.

Every single student will be transferring from Beallsville since the school was voted to close by BOE.

Was watching Wright St. vs. Vanderbilt in NCAA Regional.
Wright St. pitcher had no hitter and 3-0 lead. Coach took him out in 7th, Vandy wins 4-3.

School board votes 5-0 to suspend grades 9-12, but will remain K-8.
Students will be able to transfer to Monroe Central or River, or even Barnesville, but Open Enrollment is now on the table.

Sad for the underclassmen. Looks like 10 football teams on Blue Devils schedule looking for games.

For a D7, River did lose to four larger playoff teams (Col. Crawford, Martins Ferry, Monroe Central, Barnesville), a combined 38-8.
Made playoffs, but Pilots played one of the tougher schedules in R27.

If you met the person it's an interview. I feel this is more like a player filling out a questionnaire.

Why is River's program in bad shape? I'd disagree. Thought it was good last few years. R27 teams, especially in the lower counties, won't play them.

Minford fans will enjoy the ECO Center at Ohio University Eastern campus. Great seating plus with a balcony and 95% of the crowd will be Minford fans. OVAC fans from the area will support too. Dozens of great restaurants plus a nice mall and plaza are close by on opposite sides of I-70.

Maybe they need to simply find an opponent in R27, but I think most of them have week 1 filled.

Saw on fourseasons site Rye Cove has been good. Looks like state playoffs last year.
