Why does Jackson 7th grade need a game that day? They are scheduled to play Hillsboro that day.

Hillsboro’s 7th has too many kids out or not enough to play. 8th grade is still on.

WB takes on the third of four FAC schools that it plays this year. Based on the scores from the Hillsboro and Court House games, I’d think a turnover-free Jackson game who result in about a 3 score win. I’ll guess 31-14 Ironmen.

Seems like SE would be a nice school option for Ross Co kids who didn’t like the atmosphere at CHS. I’m surprised they don’t get more transfers.

I’m curious as to which programs will be breaking in new starting quarterbacks in 2023. Any schools excited about a change under center?

Oak Hill job is posted on Facebook. Sad to see that What was once one of the top small-school programs in the state is now probably one of least desirable openings.

Glad to see some positive sports news in Oak Hill. Moved to 7-0 on the season and got a big 1-0 win over Wheelersburg. Considering the lack of success in football, volleyball, and both girls and boys basketball, it’s nice to see some of the Oaks athletes having success.

Many junior high programs fluctuate depending on the numbers. Some move from girl/boy to 7th/8th or A/B or even from 1 to 2 teams. Traditionally Minford, Miami Trace, Athens, Unioto, and Greenfield try to do boy/girl teams. I’m sure there are others.

If it’s Norm, I’m interested to see what happens to the apparent issues of selfishness with the star player. Winning early and often will paper over a lot, but if that young man (and his family) take issue with criticism, there is a recipe for disaster. On the positive side, from what I saw of the J...

Do any programs have incoming freshmen who might make a splash at the varsity level in 2023?

The Frontier Athletic seems to have turned into a very nice baseball league. Does anyone have any thoughts on potential POY? League champs? Impact freshmen?

Is the general consensus that everyone is chasing Washington CH?
