Well March 7th, there will be a vote to determine whether or not Jackson will be the next member of the SCOL. Anyone know if there are others who might be getting accepted or denied for SCOL membership?

Circleville is about the same trip as Chillicothe for Clinton-Massie and Wilmington, and Logan Elm is only about 10 miles farther for them so if they'd be added and divisions are added geographically, it would cut on travel since there would less trips across conferenc...

I still don't get why all the other districts do the seeding so that teams can pick where they want to go. Why not keep it like the Southeast or NCAA tournament styles where it's a normal tournament?

It'd still be nice to see Jackson and Logan play annually if both are accepted into separate leagues. Keep a little bit of tradition from the SEOAL going, but new tradition and rivalries are good too.

Well Jackson to the SCOL is possible again even though the SCOL was originally not interested in them. It will be interesting to see that happens throughout the next month.

I'm curious who are some other schools being considered for the SCOL. Jackson would be a great addition, and it would be even better if if the SCOL went with geographic divisions, but with East Clinton, that hurts the chances for that idea.

I'd hope Logan would try to duel league, even if they make the LCL their primary league if they'd go, but TRENCHFOOT and dazed&confused are right, we need to wait and see what unfolds because as we've seen before, expansion plans can bust pretty easy, ex. LCL last year and PVC recently.

Any new updates on SCOL expansion? I know schools have until midnight tomorrow night to apply if they're interested in joining the league. And I'm surprised no one else is mentioning Blanchester as a possible new league member. They would be a great addition for the smaller/less competative division...

Agreed, should've stuck at 8 and not added Rosecrans and Marietta. Hopefully Marietta will come back to the SEOAL.

I noticed that Dublin Scioto is looking for a week 8 game in 2017 on the OHSAA open date site. Maybe Logan could give them a look since they already play one Dublin school. It wouldn't hurt to add another and it's better than traveling to Butler County.
