Re: Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?
So some people in the SEOP Boys Basketball Warren and Marietta to the PVC forum think Meadowbrook won't join, and now news Morgan isn't joining. Coshocton and River View I think is a little too far to join, in my opinion, and Cambridge, Marietta, and Warren won't get invited unless there's 2 divisio...

Re: Is it East or Eastern?
Yeah, everyone in the SOC area just calls them East. I understand the Eastern difficulty having 3 Easterns within 135 minutes of each other.

Re: Lucasville Valley Football
Only 2 games posted for Valley on OHSAA right now is Dawson-Bryant in week 2 and @ Piketon in week 3. I'd assume the conference schedule would be the same as last year, just flipped locations. I also hope Portsmouth remains on the schedule too.

Re: Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?
Yeah, I have to agree with Teach1Coach2, the MVL losing Morgan to the PVC wouldn't be the worst thing for the MVL as it would probably benefit all parties (Morgan, MVL, PVC), and Coshocton and River View could try their luck with the MVL again, and the MVL could choose to expand to 10 teams and do 2...

How many votes are needed for expansion? Will Buckeye Trail get a vote? Voting just for expansion or will the vote also be done to see which teams get invited?EasternDspy wrote:I was told by AD that within a month they will vote.

Re: Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?
I just don't see Logan going to the Licking County League, maybe Zanesville, but not Logan. Warren and Marietta to the PVC is possible, but it depends on whether the PVC wants to expand. Supposedly they have 3 yes votes on expansion, but is that enough yes votes?

Re: Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?
1st off, the teams have to accept the invitation to the PVC, if the PVC even votes for expansion, remember when just about everyone thought Warren was joining Marietta in the ECOL and look what happened (not blaming Warren for the ECOL potential downfall). Warren could surprise us again and say we'r...

GoBucks, Can confirm that Rosecrans joined the MSL-Cardinal. http://www.wellington.org/news/wellington-joins-mid-state-league/ Thanks formerfcfan, it took a bit to find it in the article lo but that does confirm Bishop Rosecrans to the MSL-Cardinal in 2017-18. That'll put the ECOL with 8 schools no...

Re: Point Pleasant (WV) to the TVC or OVC? SEOAL?
When does competitive balance start? I feel the only thing it will do is put the best football program in our area back in region 9. Idk where Tri Valley finds those 6'4 300 pound kids Uhm, Tri-Valley is clean out of those 300 pound 6'4 kids as of now. The top 8 linemen were seniors this year. Tri-...

Re: SCOL Expanding?
Would love to see consideration of Unioto, Logan Elm, Circleville, etc., even if Jackson isn't an option now to the SCOL the addition of teams up and down that route 23 corridor may give us some options in future years to find a league. The closer the SCOL comes to us the more options in the future...

Also, the SEOAL had 6 teams in soccer and the OVC will be Gallia's primary conference starting next year in all sports except for maybe Tennis and probably Wrestling.

Re: Gallia Academy opts out of SEOAL in Boys Soccer
I'm not sure what you're, but the OVC is going from 3 teams last year to 5 teams this year, and Gallia originally planned on competing in both the OVC and SEOAL since they could play 10 SEOAL games and 6 OVC games for their 16 game schedule, but when Rock Hill added Soccer, Gallia had to drop out of...

Re: SCOL Expanding?
I know it's getting a little off topic, but if the SVC did expand, I think they'd look at Waverly for sure followed by (in no order) Vinton County, Wellston, Eastern-Pike, Western-Pike, and McClain; Western not having football would hurt them a bit unless they added it. As for the SCOL, if it was ge...
