Coaching, specifically around the offense. Both Burg and IHS commit way too many turnovers and penalties. Take ML. That team blocks incredibly well without holding. Burg cannot do that. Burg also plays Oak Hill once from the middle division. Non league games include Harvest Prep at SSU 12/10, Russell, Ky at SSU, Zane Trace, Fairland, and the usual Portsmouth, Ironton, and Jackson

Northwest and Wheelersburg do not play in the regular season with the league realignment. Burg does play Eastern, Symmes Valley, and Western from the new middle division

35 playoff appearances, 16 Regional Final appearances, 8 trips to state semifinals, 2 state titles…. Not to shabby! Comparing Burg to Fairland is laughable ( no disrespect to the Dragons)

On a side note, who will Ironton play to complete their schedule for next season? Teams aren’t exactly lining up to play them or Burg. Burg just renewed with McNicholas for 2 more years because there were no other options. Same reason why they scheduled Harvest Prep week 6 this year and next, either...

Thoughts? Can Burg pull off the upset? We need to rally around Burg and Eastern Sort of hard to pull the upset when you are favored. How on Earth did Prep beat them so bad the first time? Burg lost 2 fumbles inside HP 20 and finished the game at HP 1 and couldn’t get it in as time expired otherwise...
