The loss of Reid is huge for the trojans, that was the other scoring option. I don't believe Carter #5 can carry you if Allen is being contained. Fairland has been fairly consistently destroying much of the OVC for years. There were a couple slumps and even then I believe the worst OVC season in the last 15 seasons was just 4 losses in conference. Does the OVC even make sense for Fairlands girls? Impressive showing by Portsmouth. To make matters worse for Fairland it appears a couple of the Fairland girls have done checked out and were mentally already on the bus ride home by midway through the second. Hopefully Portsmouth can win a state title next weekend.

I really like Portsmouth's chances for a state title this year. The quickness and smothering defense of Portsmouth will likely be too much for Fairland to handle yet again. Glad to see this game will be at the convo, I will be in the stands rooting for a Dragon upset.

Fairland vs South Point was a great game to watch. A wild ending with the clutch shot. Not sure why Fairland didn't foul at half court before a shot as they had fouls to give. With South Points shooting from behind the arc I was surprised Fairland kept up.
